Upper extremity lymphedema can appear in the torso as well as the arm, especially at the shoulder, upper back or chest. Traditionally, truncal edema, including edema of the abdomen was a very complicated condition to treat, usually treated with costly manual lymphatic treatment.

Based on the principles of manual lymph drainage, the Lympha Jacket™, compresses and releases in sequence to stimulate maximum lymphatic uptake. This appliance treats the entire upper body, including both arms, shoulders, chest, back and abdomen. Bilateral treatment further enhances drainage and prevents spillover to the unaffected limb.

Lympha Jacket™ is used to treat arm lymphedema and truncal edema, including edema of the abdomen, chest wall, shoulder and back. The vest portion treats the entire torso bilaterally on the principles of manual lymph drainage, with 24 overlapping chambers, which compress and release in sequence to stimulate maximum lymphatic uptake. The zip-on sleeves make this garment easy to wear. Use with one arm sleeve for unilateral therapy, or with two arm sleeves for simultaneous bilateral treatment of both arms.

Use the Lympha Jacket™ for:

  • Truncal lymphedema, including edema of the abdomen, chest wall, shoulder or back.
  • Upper extremity lymphedema with shoulder, back or chest edema.
  • Bilateral arm lymphedema.
  • Unilateral arm lymphedema, if there is evidence of spillover to the unaffected limb.
